This is no time to be conservative. Nintendo needs to be aggressively getting games like The Division and Destiny on their system. The games they are producing are fantastic, but they appeal to the "Nintendo" fan. Nintendo needs to wrangle back the the rest of the gaming fanbase. Banking on nostalgia is only going to take it so far.
Forget gamestop for a minute. i have friend that owns his own little game shop. he can kiss his business goodbye. And if would be a sad day, because his shop has become more than just a place to trade games, its a regular hangout for gamers in the area, just to BS about whatever games we're playing.
I get what you're saying. But using your God of War example, you can't deny that that game is very popular, so the trope she's complaining about does get a lot of exposure just from GOW alone.
I bet all the donuts in the world that the dog dies via nuclear explosion.
There's room for all of them. I pretty partial to GRID myself. But you can't deny that GT completely changed the racing game
Dude, its a bargain, if you didn't already buy the original.
Awesome game, but not really from the modern era, now is it?
But seriously guys. Go and get that D&D Chronicles of Mystara went it drops. It is an amazing game, that really deserved more fame.
Well good! I am too! Sorta.
I believe you are correct.
If immortality is an achievable concept, my guess is that digitisation is the most plausible way to do it.
I like the idea of a connected world for the purposes of Sci-fi, but the idea that someone could hack into my actual brain is one I would rather not explore in the real world. Watch Dogs connected world is scary enough and that's something that could actually happen; is happening?
I'm sure this game will be good, but the in-game micro transactions leave a bad taste in my mouth.
I guess this is proof that gamers are great filmmakers.
It's nice to know someone out there is still making adventure games.
Those guys take their COD waaaaayyy to seriously.
Forza overtook Gran Turismo a long time ago.
Sorry GT, but you just don't have it anymore.
The 3d is a gimmick. But if any one can make the 3d an actual part of the gameplay, I'll bet its Ninty.
I find the metacritic user and press scores disparity with this game very interesting.
If Shafer made a game that all about teaching us us how to read the newspaper or churn butter, I'd play it.
He made a great game about Russian Staking dolls, FFS. He can make anything fun.
Age restrictions are informative, if not vital. Even putting aside the whole parental angle, being able to get a general idea of what type of content is in a game is very useful for any purchaser. There are adult gamers who also aren't interested in violence, sex, whatever.
